LifeSteps' mission is to eliminate substance abuse in Williamson County through prevention, intervention, counseling, education, and family services.

Red Ribbon Week

CELEBRATE RED RIBBON WEEK!

Red Ribbon Week reminds communities and individuals to preserve a healthy future for our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education, and a personal pledge to live drug free lives. This week long event began as a tribute to fallen Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) officer, Enrique "Kiki" Camarena who gave his life for the cause of reducing demand for drugs. LifeSteps invites residents of Williamson county, area churches, local schools and community groups to remember those struggling with addiction and to wear a red ribbon demonstrating their fervent opposition to drugs.

GREAT AMERICAN SMOKEOUT

Nicotine, a gateway drug, is the most addictive of all substances. We are asking smokers to take the day off from smoking during the Great American Smokeout on November 15!

Puppets for anti-smoking presentation

SMOKE?.. OR NOT SMOKE?

That question will be posed to Williamson county children during an entertaining and upbeat puppet presentation. Over 3000 of our children light their first cigarette each day. LifeSteps' smoking prevention presentations provide education about the dangers and consequences of smoking.
